WINE TASTING  | Nielson Wines

Nielson Wines pays homage to its namesake, Uriel J. Nielson, who in 1964 planted the first commercial vineyard in Santa Barbara County, a region previously considered too cold to grow grapes. Known as a viticulture pioneer, Uriel didn’t heed warnings from neighboring farmers and didn’t flinch in his stance that Santa Barbara County could be one among the top winegrowing regions in the world.

WINE TASTING  | Benzinger Wines

Benzinger Wines about three things: family, great wine and healthy vineyards. For more than thirty years, Benzinger Wines farmed our ranch on Sonoma Mountain and searched Sonoma County for the most distinctive and expressive vineyards. WINE TASTING  | Conundrum Wines

Conundrum Wines source Conundrum in places that are both famed and off the beaten track – in Napa, Monterey, Santa Barbara, San Benito, Solano and Tulare Counties. The wines character starts in the vineyard, in small towns where families have been farming for generations and there’s always plenty of good conversation, great grapes and more to explore.

WINE TASTING  | A to Z wines

A to Z Wineworks was started in 2002 by Oregon wine industry veterans: Deb Hatcher (Eyrie), Bill Hatcher (Domaine Drouhin Oregon), Sam Tannahill (Archery Summit) and Cheryl Francis (Chehalem). The two couples worked in the Hatcher’s kitchen to build the original blend honored by Food & Wine magazine as the Best American Pinot Noir under $20. Recognition for A to Z wines as offering dependable quality for great value continues today making A to Z the top-selling Oregon wine brand.

WINE TASTING  | Pic & Chapoutier and Agly Brothers

In the kitchen, Anne-Sophie and Michael discuss, propose and taste. They experiment with different dishes and different wines and create ambitious pairings. She makes a suggestion, hesitates, then suggests a certain direction. He takes her lead. His interest is peaked and, with great enthusiasm, he starts to imagine the wine. She interpretes. Both daring to be creative.

La Crema Winery seeks to express the essence of the terroir in their wines, capturing the unique personality and flavor profile of the vineyards. Craig McAllister infuses our winemaking regime with a highly personal touch that combines the best of traditional Burgundian winemaking techniques with a contemporary California style.

WINE TASTING  | Brewer-Clifton & Siduri Winery

Brewer-Clifton & Siduri Winery is committed to a finite stretch of land within the Sta. Rita Hills appellation even before we mapped and defined it some twenty years ago. From their first working moments in the early 1990’s, they have been lured and seduced by the magnificent wine growing area. The pure crystalline sand soils under their feet and the salty air blowing continuously from the rugged nearby sea set an immediate hook from which they could never escape.
