Holiday Craft Beer List

Picking the Right Beer for the Holiday

Maybe you are hosting a party or going to one, either way it is just a good idea to have a great craft beer with you. For this holiday season, we have some suggestions for you to enjoy. Keep in mind these are seasonal beers so they won’t be around forever. Come in and try them before it is too late.

Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA

First brewed in 1981, Celebration Ale is one of the earliest examples of an American-style IPA and one of the few hop-forward holiday beers. Famous for its intense citrus and pine aromas, Celebration is bold and intense, featuring Cascade, Centennial and Chinook hops. With a 6.80% ABV it is a favorite amongst avid beer drinkers.

Magic Hat Seasonal Snow River

In true Magic Hat style, they say this seasonal takes your soul for a roll. The Snow Roller is known for its brisk tip and bold bitterness with malt flavors of caramel and toasted biscuit. This features Apollo and CTZ hops and Pale, Victory, Chocolate, Caramel 40L and Carmel 120L malts. This American brown ale has a 6.2% ABV. Cheers!

New Belgium Accumulation

For the rebels out there, here is a white IPA – which is against the traditional dark beers typically brewed in the winter. This is purposefully done as a tribute to winter. This has a strong hop aroma that displays all of our hop varieties: tropical fruits, bright citrus, spicy/herbal from the heavy dry hopping. This beer is a hoppy wonderland!

Rogue Yellow Snow IPA

Now Yellow Snow might not sound tasty but this tongue and cheek beer will go beyond your expectations. The pale golden beer that helped craft the name boasts a hoppy fruity aroma. Big hop flavor up front complemented by medium body and hoppiness mid-pallet. It finishes with a characteristic, lingering bitterness. This is an award winning beer that you can’t pass up.
